In a moonlit night a notable racer disappears. In search of the thief, the businessman Karabay finds Sadyr – but here the racer returns, alive and well. Now Sadyr wants to find the real thief – and this is Karabay’s relative, a quiet man called Centaur, who wants to preserve traditions.

Aktan Arym Kubat
Born in the village Kuntuu, Chuisk Region in 1957. Director, scriptwriter, producer, actor. Member of the National Film Academy and National Actor of the Kyrgyz Republic, of the European Film Academy. Winner of the Silver Leopard at Locarno, participant in Cannes. “Centaur” screened in the Berlinale Panorama.
